The Young Alumni Council invites all alumni who graduated within the last 10 years to get involved! We host a variety of events throughout the year, and we know many of them are sure to appeal to you and your friends!
Exciting Events Planned for 2008!
Be part of a new tradition:
Spring Reunion 2008 - May 16-17
There's nothing like Carolina in the spring, so you will not want to miss Spring Reunion Weekend May 16-17. In addition to the excitement of reunions for many classes and visiting new and old familiar places on campus, the Spring Reunion Weekend includes musical concerts, food, fun, and fellowship. We'll have something for alumni of all ages and their families and tie in events from you individual school or college of study. Enjoy sharing your memories, meeting with friends, and great spring time weather.
May 22: Annual President's Reception
All current members of the Carolina Alumni Association living in Richland and Lexington Counties are invited to attend the 2008 Annual President's Reception and Member Celebration.
This event, held exclusively for members of the Alumni Association, is hosted by President and Mrs. Sorensen at the Zone at Williams Brice Stadium, Thursday, May 22, 2008, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

May 29: Young Alumni Social
Come join fellow young alumni and recent graduates for a poolside social! In addition to re-connecting with friends and fellow Carolina alumni, you'll enjoy complimentary drinks and food from the grill provided by The Gates at Williams Brice and the Carolina Alumni Association's Young Alumni Council ( www.mycarolina.org/yac).

Young Alumni Council in 2008-09?
The Carolina Alumni Association is looking for recent graduates in the Midlands to serve on the Young Alumni Council for the upcoming year. The 16 Board members meet monthly and plan events and activities for Carolina alumni.
Serving on the Board is a great way to network with other recent graduates, and you'll have a great time serving your alma mater.
