University of South Carolina License Plate Of more than five dozen specialty license plates sold by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles in 2005, the University of South Carolina plate is the most popular. This is good news for incoming freshmen, as your Carolina Alumni Association - receiving proceeds from the license tag sales in South Carolina - contributes those proceeds to fund scholarships. For information on whether your state participates in the program, please contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles or your area's Alumni Club president.

Carolina Alumni Association Scholarships With contributions from membership dues and royalties from your Alumni Association's partners and sponsors, you are able to make a difference by helping to finance the education of Carolina's best and brightest students. Each academic year, your Alumni Association sponsors three different scholarships: the Alumni Scholarship, the Legacy Scholarship and the Richard T. Greener Scholarship, ensuring the future of Carolina!

Carolina Travelers Special travel opportunities are available for members of the Carolina Alumni Association through Carolina Travelers, an alumni tour program sponsored by your Alumni Association. Trips are specially designed for enjoyment and educational enrichment. Destinations vary from year to year, but one constant remains - the company of fellow alumni and friends. There's just something fun about traveling with others who share similar backgrounds and interests. Tours have limited availability, and deposits are necessary to secure reservations.
