Horseshoe Brick Restoration Project

Make your mark on the Horseshoe!

Since its earliest days, the Horseshoe has been the heart and soul of the University of South Carolina. Here, many of Carolina's greatest names are forever etched: Maxcy, Lieber, McKissick.

Now you can carve your name into the lore of the Carolina Horseshoe by purchasing a personalized brick and joining the Carolina Alumni Association's efforts to restore the Horseshoe walkways.

The Alumni Association will remove an old brick and replace it with your carved brick. Your brick provides three lines for personal information, such as name, class year, and academic major. You may also purchase bricks in honor of family members. It's a great opportunity to leave a permanent legacy at the heart of Carolina.

Personalized bricks can be purchased for $200. Alumni Association members qualify for a special price of $150 per brick.
