BOARD OF GOVERNORS
The Board of Governors is the governing body of
the Greater University of South Carolina Alumni
Association, a 501(c)(3) eleemosynary organization
established in 1846 to promote fellowship among
USC graduates and to mobilize them in support of
their Alma Mater. The Board sets policy for and
advises the staff of the organization and holds
fiduciary responsibility for the assets of the
Association.
The Board of Governors is comprised of one
governor from each of South Carolina’s sixteen
Judicial Circuits, six members at-large from
within the state of South Carolina and six members
at-large from outside the state. In addition there
are a number of ex officio positions, and the
following five officers: President,
President-elect, Past-President, Secretary and
Treasurer.
